Replace potentiometer?
I’m having an issue with the interior lights on my 1999 coupe.
With the key in OFF or ACC position, the potentiometer dimmer **** “click” turns on and off courtesy lamps, instrument cluster, door controls HVAC controls and radio controls. Turning the **** does not affect the light levels.
With the key in the ON position, the dimmer “click” turns courtesy lamps on and off. But the instrument cluster, door controls, HVAC controls and radio controls do not light up at all.
Checked a bunch of fuses and relays and all appears normal. At this point, I have to believe the potentiometer needs to be replaced.
Any thoughts?
