Try pushing the hazard button in and out a couple times and see if the turn signal starts flashing (with turn signal already on). If so, there could be a hazard switch replacement in your future. There are some good guides already here on this site for switch replacement (some dash off, others not...).

Agree with above posts. Try the hazard switch first. If that doesn't fix it, you may need a new multifunction switch. That's what I had to buy to fix it. Just curious, define "intermittent." I'm guessing they hyperflash sometimes, or???
