Default LS3 Swap

Hi guys, I've got a 2000 FRC dedicated track car. I'm thinking of swapping to a LS3 crate motor and was wondering how easy it is. Do the accessories (alternator, headers, power steering pump, etc...) direct swap with LS1 or do you need LS3 specific components? Can you use LS1 wiring harness and computer? After buying motor what's a ballpark price for swap?
Thanks,
Tom

Tom, My car is going through the LS3 swap as we speak. Its at a shop and the crate motor arrived yesterday. From what I've read all components should bolt right up including headers. You will need a 58x to 24x crank sensor converter. You will also need injector plug adaptors. The throttle body is one of the big question marks. Lots use LS2 with an adapter plug... but some claim success with the LS3 and an adaptor plug with a experienced tuners help. LS2 TB is nearly double the price of a LS3. The LS3 opens the opposite way so presents some tuning questions. Im still waiting to hear from two experienced tuners on which way to go. Leaning LS2.
I'll start a thread as we get into it. Good luck.
