I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this issue and the possible fixes? I pushed the button on the end of the wiper control arm for washer fluid. The wipers came on, and fluid pumped - Problem is, it won't turn off. Every time I start the car, the wipers run (all the windshield fluid has been drained from the tank and it's now empty). I can fiddle with the button on the end of the wiper control arm and eventually get it to stop, but it does it every time I start the vehicle. I saw some older threads from 10 - 12 years ago which described this issue. It seems the repair is as simple as popping the original button off and replacing the old springs with new ones and reassembling the button? Has anyone done this or have advice on how to?
