Engine Rev Limiter Question...

I have recently completed a gear swap from 2.73s to 3.42s with a Vigilante 3200 stall TC. I'm trying to get the !@#$ thing programmed properly with a hypertech and I'm wondering if anyone knows what is the highest I can raise the rev limiter with the programmer. It will only allow me to take it to 6500 rpms, is this ok or is it too high for a 2002 LS1? It seems that no matter how low I adjust the shift points, I still hit the rev limiter.
Also, does anyone know what the exact tire height is for the stock rear tire on the LS1? Please help, I'm getting frustrated!!! :cry

Any 01+ shortblock is safe to 6900rpm, although the LS1 valvetrain may not make any power up there.
Sounds like the Hypertech is indeed, Hype!
26.7" is the theoretical height of your tires, although tire rack lists it at 26.8"

Sounds more like a problem with the torque converter than the Hypertech, like it may not be locking up. Put it back to stock, if it still does it, it's not the Hypertech.....
