Opened this as a new thread because the original was too long.
2003 z06 :
the car will shut down when starts rolling and wont start while rolling only at full stop it will start. it`s not a stall from lack of power it is an electrical shut down. it happens randomly and usually when the car is after a 5 minutes and up rest/turned off. wonder what safety feature/system will shut down the car at slow speed and wont let it start when still in motion.
replaced ignition switch twice and installed LMC5 problem still remains

There was another GM relay similar to the LMC5 installed in my car before I installed the LMC5. You won't see it when you install the LMC5 because it is upstream and the instructions do not mention it. Find your LMC5 and follow the wires towards the firewall and see if there is a GM relay there. There was on my car and that was the problem.

There are two relays above the bcm, i took the right one out since the LMC5 replaces it. is this the one you are talking about?

My additional relay was under the dash hanging off the steering column. My car is an 04, I have a friend with an older one and his failed relay was behind the right kick panel in the passenger footwell.
Found someone with HP tuners, changed from 2mph to 255mph , and made it so it wont kick in at.
Works great for now, I will update if anything comes.
Thank you all for your help and patience.
I have the same problem but driving a 2000 C5. . I've installed the LMC5, and have also replaced the car battery as well. Can you share your contact that has the HP Tuner software that can reprogram the BCM from 2 MPH to 254. Right now my car just sits in the garage as I don't want to get stuck on the road again. It's happened to me 4 times already. I've removed the GM relay did the Brown Wire Mod on the LMC5 which did not help and then reversed the Brown wire mode. I also spoke with Richard Garvey who review my installation pictures and confirmed the LMC5 is working as it should.

@C5 Diag can probably recommend someone. Local Corvette club might also have a contact.

Thank you for the response. I'm under the impression that I can box up and mail my Corvette's BCM to whom ever can reprogram it for me to remove the 2 MPH fuel cut off number and replace with a higher value like 254. . . I agree that It the process does not seem to be rocket science. The part I'm not sure about is if the reprogramming needs to be done in the car itself with the engine running or................ can I just remove the BCM and send it to whom ever they make the change and send the BCM back to me. . Working with the software, It looks like I just have to change the number in the box from 2 to 254 and write a new file then upload that file to the car. Yes, I've downloaded the FREE HP Tuner software into my PC in order to see what the software is all about but It's $ 400.00 to buy a MPVI4 interface and another 2 credits to license my C5 Corvette into the MPVI4 which I buy. Two credits is $ 100.00 bucks. So far $ 500.00 in hardware costs. I might even have to buy a cable to connect the MPVI4 and the Laptop if a cable does not come with the purchase of an MPVI4. . The reason why I'd like to get in contact with someone that has gone thru the process already. How did you know that I'm 1,500 miles from you ?. .

Call some tuners and see which one will mail in program. Why pay 400 for the interface. Just buy the credits for PCM to be programmed. Only if your going to continue modifications in the future

I have HP Tuners if you want to drive across the state to Cape Coral.
Any Bi-directional tuner for the LS1 engine will work. most local tuners have a program that will do it. It happened to me when I forgot to use my trickle charger and the battery got too low, Fortunately I have EFILive tuning equipment and was able to move my fuel shutoff speed yo 256 mph

Thank you for your reply. At least now I can look for equipment in a lower price range. I'm going to check E-bay to see if I can pick one up there. Unfortunately, for several days now I've not been able to find a local tuner in my area. . The closest tuner that I've gotten in contact with is 200 miles away from me on a road called Alligator Alley ( It got that name for a good reason ) It cuts across the state but only has about 4 exits. I'm concerned that if I stop the car along the way for a bathroom break I might be stuck along the road and really have no one to ride shot gun with me who can stay in the car while running. A tow truck will need to drive at least 50 miles to get me on the road and the same 50 miles to tow me back. That would be more expensive than the cost of buying the equipment and license. No, I can't drive at 2 miles per hour to the next exit where cars running on the same expressway at 75 MPH plus. It's just asking for an accident and would give a Corvette a real bad rep. It's hard enough to do that on city Streets when I got stuck the last 2 times.
Again thank you for that great info that you provided. I'm hoping that tomorrow when HP Tuners is open for business that they can give me the name of someone they have sold equipment to who lives nearer to me. That is if they are allowed to give out that kind of information concerning a privacy issue.
