OK, I'm completly confused. Do I have to worry about this or not, and how do I tell?????
I have a '03 six speed. Personally I'm going to "chance" it. However, I know the 3 tricks to unlocking the system..... I don't travel out of the area much....... and my car is still in warranty.
If you're worried about it, then invest the $100 and install the bypass. Only negative is that you will remove the only mechanical theft deterrent in your car, but how many thieves steal a C5 by pushing it away??

What are the three tricks???
2) Pulliing fuses or negative battery cable for 10mins
3) Waiting for 2-3 hours
