I should have it any day, but would like to get it done as soon as it comes in. I saw that it only takes about 30 to 45 minutes to do the Blackwing. If all else fails I guess I can get some general tips from that.
Re: Tips on installing Volant air intake? (geoff1750)
Should be fairly straight forward. Yank the old airbox and filter out, install the new one. Should just bolt right up and be very self explanatory. If the Volant comes with a new air bridge, you'll need to re-install your MAF sensor between the intake and the airbridge. Be careful not to damage any of the wires when doing this.
Re: Tips on installing Volant air intake? (YOULLUZ)
Ordered mine from TBYRN - look at the supporting vendors on the left. He is almost at the bottom, but had the best price I could find. I ordered it because when I was shopping for my car I saw a vette with it and really liked the looks. I also plan on getting the screens where the fog lights mount to let in some cool air. BTW I paid $249.99 for mine plus shipping.
Looks like they have a 10% sale going on now. It is $269 less 10%. Thanks for correcting me YOULLUZ! I thought it was always $249.99 instead of it actually being $269.99. I just looked at my receipt when you posted to let you know where I got it. duh me!

Tanks for the info.. I looked at Xtreme and they wanted $269.99, so your price w/ the 10% off is much better.. Let us know how the install goes. :steering:
