Headlight motor question

Default Headlight motor question
2004 CE convertible- Daily driver
One of my headlight motors crapped out. Have ordered a new one. I’m certain it will come with original nylon gear. I installed brass gears years ago. Question is, should I install new motor as is with the nylon gear or install the brass gear from old motor into new motor?
Thanks for any advice.

I'd just keep the new nylon in until it fails. Probably 5-10 years from now

Thanks that’s what I decided too. Original nylon gears failed around 2012 … about 8 years.
