does the Mobil 1 synthetic LS 75/90 gear oil have the modifier in it already ?
as opposed to the Mobil 1 synthetic gear oil that i think does not have it in ?
tia
Unless you are roadracing, with very high diff temps, and need the best high temp lube on the face of the Earth, the local Chevy dealer has what you need, premixed!! Competitive prices, too......

"LS" stand for "Limited Slip" meaning it has the additive.

they have ac delco with no additive $22 for 946 l.
I was under 50k miles on a 1998 when I bought my car in March, 2022. 24 year old car...I couldn't make up my mind so I went with the OEM stuff. AC Delco price is all over the place on the web. My closest local Chevy dealer closed about a decade ago. (My childhood home was across the street, worked there in high school). I ended up getting fluids on ebay, seeking free delivery at the best price. All fluids in the pic below came from GM dealers that sell on ebay.

thanks.. Picked up some Mobil 1 LS 75/90 $10 cheaper than the Delco stuff.. and need to add modifier with it
Will be interesting to hear your feedback on it. In a thread of mine there was some discussion about Mobil 1 LS fluid, in which I had freshly installed C6 Z06 clutch packs. Here are some quotes from that thread:

Yup-Thats the stuff. I think the old# is the 88862624#. I got to 100,000 miles before I changed it, and figured if it was good enough to last 15 years and 100,000 miles, it'd last until 200,000 before I needed to change it again.....
I do try and avoid the big A when I can. Ebay has several options. I'm sure you can get a hold of these guys and order more or less quantities from the 3-pack they have on this listing: https://www.ebay.com/itm/27441082703...3ABFBM6uOWifdg
I was told by my local NAPA that the Mobil 1 was on back order and I used Valvoline GL5, 75-90W synthetic on the wife's 4Runr diff's last month. Very easy to use plastic dispenser and no need for a pump with that brand. Amsoil has the same easy to use packaging. I have enough AC Delco fluids to do the Corvette diff fluid & additive plus M6 trans again. If I see it cheap on ebay, I snag it to put on the shelf.
