C5 corvette speedometer problems.
Hey guys I bought my c5 a few years ago with the speedometer not working. I did not think it was all that big of a deal, but because speedo doesn't work, the odometer doesn't miles which is a problem... so I looked into it and it said try replacing speed censor on the pumpkin... I did that today and unfortunately it did not fix the problem. When I start the corvette the speedometer winds up as it should, but nothing when I'm driving. I had a situation a year ago when I was driving it started working randomly for about 30 mins, but stopped and has continued to not work since then. Any information would be very very nice thank you.

If you have a scan tool you can check to see if the computer is calculating a vehicle speed. Sounds like the cluster should be able to work based on it sweeping. The below thread sounds similar to your situation and looks like it was a broken wire.
