Yes but it will need to be reprogrammed for the 2.73 in order for the shift points to be correct. Since both ratios are factory available ratios for the A4, a dealer can do the reprogram IF the dealer has access to factory programs for the C5. The dealer may have to order the program since the car is more than 20 years old. You need to ask ahead of time.
