HVAC controls

I am going to take out my climate control module to send away for led lights and cleaning. Can the car be driven with the control module removed? Or even started and run without it.

Hi my module needs fixing. No display any longer. Who are you sending your unit to? Need my rebuilt or replaced.

If you can solder it's a simple repair to do

Thanks will take a look at it after I pull it. I've soldered but never on small stuff. Will check out the you tube.

I have heard good things about autoclockrepair for repairing hvac module.

Similar to you, I've soldered wires together, but have never soldered on a circuit board. I just got my module back from Absfixer.com. Sent it to them because they did a good job on my ECBM and had it back to me very quick. And it only cost me $75. Mine was dim, but not completely out. It's as bright as my radio display now.
