Default Grounds to the Block / Heads / Starter

Everything was undone long ago.

I want to be sure I get all the grounds correct and avoid headaches. These are not the chassis grounds. Specifically, these are the grounds from the engine harness to the engine in various locations.

Running a search didn't provide complete information.

If you have pictures to illustrate what goes where that would be the best for me.

Thanks!

And let us hope the lower volume of traffic on Tech brings forth the answers we seek. 😎

Back of the drivers head as photo'd, its built into the harness. One from the ground stud under the brake booster to the middle of the block behind the header. one ground from the battery to the side of the block and I beleive there is another group of grounds from the harness that attaches here.

When i re did my battery cables, I ran an extra 8ga ground from the battery to the ground stud on the passenger side of the frame. 4ga wire from the ground stud on the drivers front to the alternator case, and then another set of 8ga wires to join the two grounding studs on each side of the frame rail.

So are you looking for other than block grounds ??...things like sensor grounds or component grounds like headlight etc ??...for $19.99 you can get a 1 month subscription to Alldata and they have all the grounds with connector ID's and pin outs.

Best I could get with the exhaust on. Car is in the air so I can get pics of other connections if you need.

Oh excellent. Thanks. I'm not usually this pedantic. With so much vying for space or new in this area, and with so many changed systems overall, I want to be sure I'm not adding extra ghosts to chase later.
