SERVICE COLUMN LOCK
Well now I've officially had all the C5 problems. After being re-ringed, fuel sending units replaced, 2 starters, an alternater, a battery and 2 PCMS...Now I have the column lock problem. I started the car on 2 seperate occasions today and got the "SERIVCE COULMN LOCK" and the wheel was locked in place. Both times after several itterations of turning off the ignition and resarting the car..I got the "SERVICE COLUMN LOCK" to go out and the wheel turned and I was able to drive home. My question is this...Is the car safe to drive, or should I have it towed to the dealer? Is is possible for the column to lock up now when I'm actually driving down the road? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
