Headlights won’t go off or down
Headlights stay up and running no matter what I do (twilight mode does not appear in options). Prior to this problem, my high beams would always stay on. I’m positive I have a bad multi-function switch. Anyone else have this problem? Also wanted to ask if anyone had luck with simply cleaning the multifunction switch as opposed to replacing it.

I don’t know a whole lot about the headlights yet. I am still learning my 99. But, have you checked the connection/ground to your headlight control module? I would eliminate other potential problems before tearing the column apart.

the Multifunction switch has been discontinued for a while now. you can at times find used ones. I was able to pick up one a while back that came out of a 10K car that got totaled. Good luck with it
