Default LMC5 mod

I have a 2000 M6 it has the LMC5 installed. I want to see if the brown wire mod was done but getting confused on what to look for or do. Could someone please post the directions in detail on what to look for and how to do this mod if it hasn’t been done, step by step please.
Thanks

Step 1: download LMC5 install instructions via Google.

Step 2: verify per instructions mod has been performed.

Vague Cliff's Notes: remove passenger floor mat, lift off cover, locate LMC5 module, see if brown wire has been cut.

I tried doing that and still not coming up with the step by step instructions page, I seen it on here a while back but can’t find it now. It shows the general instructions but not the mod.

The mod is that you simply cut the brown wire.

There's more to it than that, it's been a while since I did it. But seriously, I found this with Google.

Thank you so much, this is what I’ve been looking for. I will look and see if it’s been done tomorrow, this is my first C5 and everything is a new experience. Have had 3 C 2s when I was a youngster.
