Katech 243 CNC Head Porting (Very reasonable price)
Hello All,
I own my 02 C5 Z06 just over 2 years now and have been taking my time learning about the car and the LS Series of engines. It’s my first Corvette.
I kind of have my heart set on going with Katech’s head porting instead of purchasing a different set of heads. Long story short I’ve known about Katech for over 20 years and have complete confidence in their work quality and thorough testing before offering any product or service to the market.
My question is, has anyone on this site had their heads done by them?
I’m just looking for real customer feedback before I go ahead with them.
I can’t imagine owning my car without this forum. It’s utterly amazing how much I’ve learned so far.

Nothing wrong with Katech's product but their pricing isn't the most straight forward. The service with the blending is over 1k without reassembly or upgraded springs. Last I had checked Texas speed was still the cheapest for a ready to go porting service. I don't think you would be disappointed with most companies. I realize the reassembly and springs may not matter to you just letting you know in case you missed it.
