Default Fixing Hardtop water leak

Hello everyone

I recently had the windshield replaced on my ‘99 FRC. The mechanic did something wrong & now there are water leaks on both sides. Both floors are wet after a rain. The mechanic denies responsibility, declines calls and doesn’t want to cooperate with fixing the problem. Both rain gutters were cleaned, issue persists.Look at the attached images. The leak is identical on both sides. Some water dripping down the side wall and more water dripping down right next to it. The second picture from the top shows how it is on both sides.
Are ruined seals the cause of the leak? If so, will a seal replacement do the trick? I found this . They’re offering seals for both the left and the right side.

Please let me know what to do soon since I don’t want the car to develop a mold issue. There is already a slight mildew like odor present.

This is where the water is coming from on the drivers side.

Gl for glovebox - you can see water dripping down from under the side of it right next to the speaker.

there's also a metal strip on each side underneath the black trim & seals that often gets torqued unevenly and/or bent in the process, and that'll allow water intrusion.

went through this with my 2000 about 12yrs ago. our local dealer had a guy really good with corvette stuff, so i had him fix those, and the water stopped.

Do you have a part number?

And the issue started right after the windshield replacement. Never had any water get in prior to this even when it was pouring for a week straight.

My hunch is that your roof gutter system needs to be services / rebuilt. It can be taken apart and reassembled if the gutter / roof rails are not cracked; if so, the gutter / roof rails would need to be replaced as part of the drill. The link below will provide all of the information needed. My car has been leak free since I rebuilt the roof gutter system including replacing the roof rails three years ago.

The weatherstrip rubber is elongated and even ripped in some parts and very poorly glued on the car. The left roof rail has a crack in it now as well. And icing on the cake is the windshield ended up cracking due to poor installation

I’m filing a small claims lawsuit against the installer. I need to know how much fixing these leaks will run, approx.

1) Is there any other parts I’ll need?
2) What is the part # for the drivers side roof rail? I only need the horizontal top part

Roof weatherstrips - LH + RH - $800
Lower windshield seal - $50
Outer door seal (he fucked this up somehow as well) - $150

Left + Right weatherstrips
left + right seals
Left roof rail
left + right reveal moldings

+ Labor
I have been down this road with my 2003 Z06. Reveal molding is crazy expensive and weatherstripping is worse. I think I spent $1500 for the parts when they were available. The after market stuff sucks.

Is there anything else that goes in between the weatherstripping and the car’s body, or is that the only part I’ll need to order to seal that part of the car?

And what is the name of the side roof rails for the hardtop? So far I’ve only found the super short ones that go on the convertible and coupe.
