I read in the IHRA rule book that you can bolt the base plates to the frame as long as you use 3/8" bolts and plates on the top and bottom of the frame. How is the Wolfe Cage setup to work with the rules?
Phillip :D
Because of the hydroformed frame rails of the corvette, there is no way to bolt to them.
I believe the kit comes with some angles you weld onto the frame rails and then bolt to them.
I'll find out soon, as I have a 6 point on order from them now :D
no the bolt in kit from wolfe has you bolt the cage in 6 places (if you got the door bars) The main hoop gets bolted by the rear bolt of your seat rail. For the rear down bars you have to bolt it in by the rear wheel well. And the front is bolted to the floorboard.
