Power Steering pump high pressure hose into pump question
Can someone tell me if it is normal for the high pressure side hose that threads into the bottom of the pump, to have about half inch of threads still exposed? Thanks.

I just did my high pressure hose a couple of weeks ago and yes, mine still had a good amount of threads showing at the pump side. I looked at the old line and you can see only maybe 3/8" of the threads were in the pumps as the exposed threads were pretty dirty. I think as long as the line itself has no up and down play within the fitting, you are good to go.
