toe in and tire wear
how much toe in will cause excessive tire wear? odd question, i know. doubtful many have experimented with this as it can get costly. the reason i ask is i have my car aligned for autox with a lot more camber than i want to drive on the street 1.8 degree or so, a few upper a arm shims later ive got her in "street" alignment .8 degree,but there is about 5/8 toe in gained in that change as well. im thinking this will burn the tires off pretty quickly.

Toe is what kills tires, not camber. Keep the camber and go 0 toe.

at 1.8 camber i was right under 1/8 total out. ive got it at 1.4 camber now with just at 1/8 total toe in, seems like a lot of movement for so little change, but i did not drive it to settle it though, will have to double check it.
