Hi to all.
I have a 2003 C5 and probabily all the 4 sensors are KO.
I don't want every time to press the reset button when the warning alarm appears..
Question:
is possible with the apposite diagnostic instrument enter in the ECU and erase forever the warning message?
New sensors should be readily available in Italy for a reasonable cost. 200 Euro should cover it. Once replaced they should be good for 10-15 years. My 2002 still has the original sensors and are functioning properly. Although not an absolute necessity, they are nice to have functional.
I found in Germany (ebay) 4 sensor, about 90 euro with shipment. They work with 433 MhZ, I don't know if the frequencies is correct or not. In some discussion i read that there are sensors that works with 315 MhZ ans other with 433 MhZ.
315Mhz is for 1997-2000 Corvettes and the 433Mhz is for 2001-2004 Corvettes. I have heard, but have not confirmed, that there may have been a third frequency for Corvettes expressly built for European export. I am not sure how you would confirm that specification.

Regards from Italy.
Yes, on the 01-04 cars you can turn the feature off with a Tech 2. You may be able to use other Bi-directional scanners also but I'm not sure which ones are capable of doing it

As far as I know, the frequency used is based on which market the car was originally specced for ie US and Japan uses 315 Mhz for remotes, EU uses 433 Mhz, other countries I am not sure of.
So first you would need to know if the car was built as a Euro specced model. If it is then it should operate on 433Mhz.
When I replaced the wheels on my Euro spec 98 (so 433Mhz), I fitted a set of universal 433Mhz TPMS sensors that were pre-programmed for the C5 which I got on Ebay Germany, possilbly the ones you have seen though this was 6 years ago.
These have worked fine, when fitted you just need to do the relearn procedure using the DIC while activating each sensor with a cheap TPMS reset tool ie tpms tool
