Default tstat pump and housing

Since installing the new superduper radiator, my temperature needle won't go much over 10 o'clock (160-165°F)... of course I didn't think to replace the thermostat with the coolant already out of the car. I heard there are different size thermostat and different size housings. I have a 1998. I think my pump is original but not sure if the housing and tstat has been changed, see photo. I swear I read an old post here about "old style" and "new style" before but can't find it now.

Rock auto sells thermostats, housing, thermostats with housings...orings... What do I need?

Is gates 33910 the right one? It looks like the right one but pictures don't mean much assuming it's even the right picture.. https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=366273

If your pump is original style you'll need the one piece housing/stat assembly. PO of my Z track car subscribed to the lower is better philosophy and had a 160 unit installed. I went with a 187 from O'Reilly. Murray 37987.

tstat was maybe acting a little sus before the new rad. Just didn't notice or wasn't paying attention. I think it just won't close all the way. But it held right at 195°F on the highway in summer weather. So I don't think it is a wrong temp, besides don't those need computer tuning? Looking again it is probably the original one so time for replacement. But I just had it drained and the hose off two weeks ago

I didn't realize old style tstat and housing were one part. That helps me understand a lot! Thank you!
