I was looking at the WCC site and saw the the LS6 intake manifold an the Holley aluminum intake manifold for about $10 more, are there any differerences in performane gains on an 01' coupe? :confused:

From what I heard you will gain little or nothing with the Holley manifold. Except adding weight to the front of your car since it is heavier than the plastic LS6 intake.

The Holley intake's bottom plate comes off so you can extrude hone and port-match easily. It can also be polished to a mirror finish. The ones I've seen have a large block with Holley's logo cast into it and exposed on the top.
Heat soak is gonna' be higher on alum. and as mentioned above, it's heavier.

I would think the Holley would help transfer heat to the air charge. If that happens you will loose power over the composite. I picked up 17 RWHP with the LS6 manifold on my car. Look around and you can find them for around $400 shipped. just my .02
