Stock c5 radio and stock speakers. The tweeter in the passenger door has not worked since I bought it 2 years ago. The sub does work though. I tried replacing the whole speaker sub/tweeter/amp and it does the same thing. Unless I just got super unlucky and the replacement one (from a salvage yard) has the same problem, I'm kinda stuck. Could it be a wiring issue or something wrong with the head unit itself? Something else I should be looking at?
I tried researching this a bit but seems everyone who had the issue had the opposite, their sub stopped working in the door, but the tweeter doe still worked.
any signal on a multimeter on the speaker wires to the door tweeter?
And just tto check.. if you're keeping the door tweeters, does the one you bought / replaced work? test it by putting it in the drivers side door.

Earlier today I swapped the working one from the drivers side to the passenger side and its doing the same thing, sub works, twiddler doesnt. Ruling out speaker at this point. I'm not really sure where to start with a multimeter....

The radio powers the twiddler directly. It could be the wiring or the radio. You can check the wiring/connector at the door accordion first. The connector contacts can go bad and cause opens in the wiring. If you have an ohmeter you can measure across the speaker wires and each wire to ground with the speaker disconnected. If the wiring is intact you should get a reading.
