Hi folks! As a brand new Corvette owner, I have been reading everything I can about my performance options, but I can't seem to find much to SPECIFICALLY replace the '03 sway bars. All of the parts I find list as 97-02.
What gives with the '03? Or is just that the online sites haven't had time (in the 4 months that the '03 has been out) to update their listing?
Anybody have the details on exactly what changed in '03?
Thanks!

I seriously doubt the sways changed at all, meaning any bar for a previous year will bolt in to the '03s. I'd e-mail a couple forum vendors, you're bound to reach one who's swapped bars into an '03 model and they can confirm.
Welcome to THE FORUM...I bet the websites just haven't caught up...I had the "standard" suspension and added Z06 swaybars and aluminum links...very happy with NO degradation in ride quality...corners flat. :chevy :flag :steering: :seeya
Does everything just bolt in place with the Z-06 swaybar package? I have a 2002 coupe and am interested in upgrading. What's the difference between the Z-51 swaybars and the Z-06 swaybars? Do you need insulators with either upgrade, or will stock suffice?
Fichtner Chev. was advertising the Z-06 swaybar package, and it looks like a real good deal, but I wanted to make sure it would mount before I bought it.
I got my '02 Z06 Sway package from Fitchner. Everything is included. Installation is VERY easy. I am unsure the diameter differences in the Z51 vs. Z06 but the base F45 is very puny compared to the Z06. I haven't had the opportunity to really put it to the test but from what I have noticed on just fast sweeping curves, it is a night and day difference. ENJOY!!
I did the Z06 Bars also and save even more $$$ as I didn't need the aluminium endlinks. 2002 Forward get them as standard. Just remember to grease the bushings well, as I am told they can squeak.
This forum is great! Thank you all for your comments on this, and other topics...... my eyes are shot from reading..... and reading..... and reading.
I just ordered my Z06 bars (without end-links) from Fichtner because I couldn't see pay 3 times the price for Hotchkis. The Z06 ones can't be that bad if GM says they can get 1g out of the machine (I know it isn't all in the bars, but still). And, it keeps the $$$ in the family :)
I just ordered the Z-06 sway bars w/o endlinks from Fichtner. Does it come with installation instructions? What about any torque wrench specs? Does anyone have any info on this, or maybe a website with pictures? :yesnod:
