LS Block Bolt Hole Damaged
I am currently about half way done installing a cam and supporting mods in my car.
I decided to pull the heads given the age and mileage of the car, and figured the headgasket was going to go sooner or later.
I was just cleaning out all the head bolt holes and came across a small hole in one of the far back bolt holes.
The car was running prior to this install, the water pump went out and I've had the cam sitting around for a while so figured it was time.
I'm pretty confident I can run this as is, but want to get some other eyes to look at it before I put this all together and run into an issue.
The damage I'm guessing was caused by the belling housiung bolt that holds the metalbracket attachted to the drivetrain wiring harness.
I pulled and reinstalled the bellhousing probably 2 or 3 months ago now so, its possible I did this, but the car has also had 5 or 6 owners so there is no telling.
Any ideas how this could have happened and if it will cause any issues?
