Default under the cup holder

is there a small space to run a few wires under the cup holder to the traction control button area. i would like to run a couple wires from my back-up camera to the under console lid so i don't see them. kinda looks like it's a straight shot from the cup holder bottom to the console storage compartment. would like to do this this without removing the console. thanks

Yes, there is lots of room under the console to run wires.

You could tuck the wires up the side but that would be a bit cheesy. Consider removing the console. It is a 5 minute job to remove and a 10 minute job to put back together . Your wiring job would be much cleaner and easier.

Removing the console is so easy it doesnt make much sense not to. I’d at least loosen up the armrest, that should give you enough room with minimal effort

If you want instructions on how to remove the console go to this thread.

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...d-upgrade.html

The first post has a link to a PDF downloadable file with excellent instruction.

thanks for all the good advice here. several years ago i installed a B&M shift plus and installed it at the transmission. ran the wire through a 1/4 loom through the tunnel up to and through where the dead pedal is located. took my finger tips and pushed the wire under the knee bolster and through the traction control plate. nothing shows and was very easy. this back-up monitor wires with the RCA plugs is a different animal. it would require bigger holes to get the plugs through and to hide them to look very good. thats why i was looking at the worthless cup holder for an access hole. plus i'm thinking about a mirror set up if i like this one. got this entry level back-up set up to see if i liked it. as usual i get all the good advice from here. thanks again. I agree. Easy peasy. If you have a Vert, I believe you have to remove the waterfall first.
