Default C5 spd boot
Will a c6 shifter work on the c5 boot. Ring looks a little larger on the c6 shifter. People do change them out for the c6 shifter. Thanks

You’ll need to snip a few stitches on the C5 boot to allow it to slip over the C6 collar.

There's an early and late C6 shift ****. I have the early without the collar. Either works, but you will have to cut a few stitches to fit.

I just bought a new shift boot ring and hot glued it to the boot and snapped it in. Only cost me $20 and it’s much more robust than stock.
