I just bought a 2002 Corvette z06 which came with a few mods. One of the mods is shaved door handles so the doors can't be opened from the outside. I should be able to open them with a remote but when I got the car it didn't work. I'm not sure what is causing the issue, but I think the receiver made be dead. When I was working on the headlights I noticed some aftermarket stuff beneath and I think it is the receiver. Currently it looks like the receiver isn't plugged into anything and it just zip tied to some existing wires. I can't find any information on this particular receiver a I have no clue what I can do to fix this issue. There is also something under the driver side headlight but I am unsure what it is. Are you locked out of the car? Can you get inside at all?
You should be able to find aftermarket wires in the accordion and follow them to where they're wired to. Also take off the interior door panels and get your hands on the poppers to reference the model and buy new ones
Also post pics of the shaved doors because those are not common on here
