Default c6 front end on c5, stock rear diffuser

Will the stock c6 front end fit on a c5 and whats all needed? Stock parts or aftermarket? Hood, bumper, headlights, fenders? anything else i think they look newer.

I talked to someone said they had a stock rear diffuser you can see has a slight lip not painted that fit over the stock bumper? did they come factory on stock vehicles and which ones or where do you get this? One is a photo he wants 500$ for stock bumper he says maybe came on z06 the black diffuser that sticks out.

Dude be serious. It would be cheaper for you to buy a C6 than to try to custom one-off a whole c6 front end to a c5

Yeah, I'm not a fan of cross year marriages, sometimes they look like the union of two salvage title vehicles. As you said it looks newer but that doesn't necessarily mean better. You've got a good looking red vette and there's so much stuff out there to personalize it just find the right items and enjoy having the last body with pop-up headlights.

At first I didn't like the c6 headlight setup looked cheesy but got used to them. If a hood and bumper were needed this may look fine. My bumper and hood have cosmetic flaws to where the vinyl wrap or paint runs 225-250$ same with the bumper seems to be an original one with spider webs.

I really am just curious who sells these parts it looks nice whoever's c6 front c5 that is I found it when browsing for stock rear diffuser.

It's the same putting ls1 front end on lt1 camaro I wouldn't have but may have swapped over to the ls platform and newer front end style just have the old style dash on my 95 z28 I had when I was 18 I had found a really good deal on a 119k mile bone stock hardtop 6 speed mystic teal 98 z28 in 2009 for 3500$+300$ ttl on craigslist purchased that and sold my 95 z28 6 speed for 2600$ that always had a problem with transmission popping in reverse.

I had swapped over the ebony leather, 95 leather door panels and carpet I had bought from hp salvage but didn't change the lt1 4.10s or bmr panhard rod and tubular control arms.

I was going to purchase a 8800$ 2005 auto c6 bad transmission rebuilt title 2 years ago instead I had found this advertised c5 as running driving it home torque tube was trash etc would rumble. Should have just rented a U-Haul truck and trailered the c6 and did a local transmission rebuild. I wasn't so sure but had to drop transmission on mine right away after Installing headers.

Wish I had got a 6 speed instead my left arm was snapped in a car wreck 2017 rear ended at 50 mph stop and broken neck. I had needed a sling for my left arm to be held up when I was vehicle searching really bad deal.

Yeah the only thing i liked about them vs the z28 was the lt4 4 bolt main, heads and intake. Pretty cool
