Very confusing transmission issue
2002 Corvette Z06 with 100k miles
Bought a “built transmission” from a company that specializes on that stuff back in January of this year. Alongside a new LS7 clutch from Tick Performance and rebuilding the torque tube. I also recently added a MGW shifter. Well my current issue is when driving I go to shift into 4th gear and it feels like a wall is blocking me from going in. If I hold it at that wall it sometimes will let me go through after a few seconds. Shifting into 1st gear at times will feel the same and I would have to shift to 2nd and back to 1st. When I’m accelerating faster it will sometimes shift like butter into 4th gear. I’m thinking it’s a synchro but maybe you guys have a different idea. This whole issue is frustrating after dropping $3,500 on a “built transmission” that is seeming to give me issues. I’ll appreciate any advice or ideas you guys can give me

Try this - Shifter Linkage Adjustment for 1997-2019 Corvette (C5, C6, C7) – Core Shifters (core-shifters.com)
I made some brass bushings to replace the rubber ones and mine shifted like butter (1 finger shifts)
