I have a 2004 C5 and my passenger headlight does not come up when i turn on my lights. If I turn the manual **** just a couple of turns and turn on the lights it pops up and it works fine for a day or two. Is there an adjustment I need to make? The motor seems to be working fine.

Welcome to the forum! There is more than likely an issue with the plastic gear in the headlight motor beginning to strip. This is a very common problem. There are several options to fix it. You can actually buy a whole new motor for pretty cheap. The other option would be to order a metal gear replacement kit, and replace the gear in your existing motor. Good luck!
Welcome to the C5 forum.
Before doing any replacing and because of the intermediate working, I suggest disconnecting the headlight motor from the the control module connector to make sure all the connectors are tight fitting and corrosion free.
This is exactly what mine does and friends. Its been doing this for 10yrss. If u dont heard a grinding noise most likely its ur bumpers stops. There 4 of them. Theres cheap hard one out there that suk. I cant find the gm soft rubber ones. Friend made up 4 bumpers and worked for about 6 to 7 months but it doesn't happen all the time. Just if the car sits 3 to 4. Hope tthis helps
And every once in a great will the pass side does it. But turn of the nonb and that go for yrs. But like they said might be adjustment in ur case.
Thanks, I have replace both gears and there is no grinding noise. I just seems to randomly not want to come up.
Try moving ur bumpers around because they weir and just by moving them just might pushed on the different part of the bumper. Got nothing to lose. Seems like ur not getting anywhere. Google where there located. There's 4, Doesn't hurt. except if the light actives for some reason and don't wont to disconnect the battery.
