Memory and performance seating
I know. Another seat thread. I didn’t find the exact answers I was hoping to, so if I missed it, my bad.
My understanding is, unless you spend $$$ on some really nice seats, you really just need to replace both tracks to go with a performance seat.
My understanding also is if you do that, your memory functions no longer work once the modules under the drivers seat are removed.
I’d rather not do that. I’d love to upgrade seats, and can live with a manual drivers seat, but would prefer to not loose all of my other memory functions.
I can also live with the C6 belts to try and avoid flipping the seats (something about that would annoy me). I’m sitting somewhere between a 36 and a 38” waist as it is so I will probably have to go for an A4 wide of equivalent seat as it is just to be safe.
Anybody have any input on how I might do this without completely disabling my memory functions (maybe some sort of sim?) or flipping seats around? I’m tired of looking at seats and continuously getting hung up trying to find a mounting solution that works.
