Default Fuel Injector Tip Fell In Head

Was taking off my intake manifold today and noticed one of the fuel injectors plastic ring was broken in half. And I found it sitting on top the valve... Any idea how to get this thing out of there? Been going at it with wire with tape on the end for an hour and really don't want to remove the head... Compressed air maybe?

Cover all other ports with making tape and blow it out.

I think that worked. Don't see it in there anymore. Gonna run into the store and grab a cheap boroscope just to be sure... Tempted to order a Fast 92 while it's off...

Got another question. I can't find a replacement clip that broke anywhere besides buying a new injector. Anyone know where to find these or if they are even needed?

Dealers usually have clips. If you ever run into this foreign object resting on a valve scenario again, one thing I've had great success with is this; take a 12" length of 1/2" fuel line/plastic tubing, and stick it into your shop vacuum pickup nozzle a couple inches. Then duct tape the Hell outta it. You now have a powerful vacuum with a 10 inch length and 1/2" opening. Stick the hose into the port and suck it out. I frown on compressed air, because you have little control over where the object may end up! Like your clip. Hopefully it didn't end up somewhere inside your motor.....

Wow man, that's a really good idea. I just used a little can of compressed air and scoped it, doesn't look like there's anything in there. Will probably hit it with that vacuum too in case I missed something.
