How much play is normal in the headlight assembly?

How much play is normal in the headlight assembly?
I'm going through an 02 vert I bought a few months ago fixing things. Currently, I'm working on the headlights. I replaced a few bolts and bushings and the stops. The headlight assembly has about an eighth to a quarter of an inch of vertical plan when open. Is this normal? It's not the motor or gears, they are fine. I checked them and all is well. The play appears to be stacking tolerances from where the arm mounts to the motor and the top where it mounts to the frame. Has anyone else tried to jiggle the light when your are up. Do they move? If so, about how much?

Could someone please go out to their car, turn on the lights and see if the housing has any up or down play when they are on? I've replaced as many parts and I could find. I think the lights are in spec, but have nothing to compare it to

Mine are about the same as yours. There is a guy on ebay who sells bushing kits for the headlight linkage. I just received my kits today and have not had a chance to install yet. You grind off the old rivet and drill out the hole and put in new bushings. Also a kit for the top bushing also. https://www.ebay.com/itm/155269388606
