Watched a lot of videos on changing the hazard switch (some made it look pretty daunting) , but they often seem to have trouble releasing the top clip of the hazard switch. Some got pretty rough. Just swapped mine out using a .028" feeler gauge. Slide it between the switch and housing. When you feel it bump the lock pin twist & shove it in. Once past the lock it can bury the feeler. Access the bottom lock pin with a small screwdriver from the area behind the Radio.
To clarify, I removed the armrest & center console using a 10 mm socket & T15 torx. Then removed the Radio w/ a 7mm socket. Knee bolster removal NOT needed. You can slip your hand up from below with it in place.
