Parts are supposed to be delivered on 6/24.....finally!!!
Trying to come-up with some method to check the crossover tube without removing it from the right side tank; need to make sure I did not split it getting those blasted plastic return/feed lines to separate.
Any ideas?

Good to hear about the parts! Wish I had something to add to help. Your kinda breaking new ground. 👍
As I still have the left tank out, going to try to put a bright light into the end of the crossover, look if there is any light coming out along the length. Only idea I have come-up with at this point.
So vette4fl....is your Corvette in the shop yet?
Well....came upon another problem that the repair shop that replaced the fuel pump has done; they actually broke the crossover tube support bracket!!!
I think this is probably something that is needed when the crossover tube is full of fuel, not so much when not, except it will move around.
Now I need to find a replacement bracket. Have already sent vettenuts a request....time for ebay.

Thanks for the links.....contacting all of them!
This bracket is two sided in that one side supports the fuel crossover tube, the other side or end supports a much smaller tube.
Have found several used crossover tubes that includes this bracket....of course could always get a complete new crossover tube that includes this bracket......not something I want to do at all.
I might be able to use a fender washer and capture both broken ends of each bracket....might have to go that route.....IDK.
Hey vette4fl....are you anywhere near Boca Raton? The shop that did all this was Exotic Auto Services in Boca Raton.

Parts arrived...yeah!! Now I am struggling with getting those new return/feed lines into place. Got the one with the connector in place, now working on getting the tube into the fuel pump well and into the clip.
Be nice to have two more hands as trying to hold the fuel pump at the correct angle, pull on the string attached to the line, while using a bent wire clothes hanger to move the line end into the fuel pump well.....I can see why no videos on YouTube actually showing this done, just afterwards.
Quick Update: After a total of about 3 hours, I finally got the plastic feed / return lines connected to the fuel pump. The straight line with the connector is fairly easy, but the one that just goes into the fuel pump well....WOW!...what a royal PITA!!! I could not even begin to describe how I got that end into the well and then the tube into its clip.
Anyways, new fuel tank to fuel pump O-ring is in place and not torn or twisted, lock ring in place...so I should be leak free. Still need to replace the crossover tube O-rings and of course put the tank back in...but it is 107°F outside and garage is a bit on the warm side. Think I will do this another day.

I would sure like to know how and where the '04 Corvette fuel tanks were pre-assembled. There has got to be a proven, sure-fire, quick, precise method to installing these lines into the fuel pump assembly.
As I do not have the 04 Service Manuals, if someone reads this that does....how is it written to attach these lines????
The left fuel tank is back in place with a (hopefully) correctly mated crossover tube. Mating the crossover tube is a 100% blind mate. I sprayed all the O rings with silicon and with a little push all went together....again hopefully. Will not know for sure until I fill with fuel.
Still have the issue of no crossover tube support bracket. Could not re-use the one that the shop cut...just to short. So far have had no luck in finding a replacement unless I purchase a crossover tube. If not able to find one, I am going to try using some plumber's strapping.
Guess I could limit the fuel fill to about 8 gallons to keep fuel out of the crossover tube.....not a particularly good solution though.
I was wondering if I should get a notch better pump, “while I’m in there”. I do plan on a midrange cam and upgrading to 243 heads, but no idea if that would warrant larger injectors needing a better pump.
Now if I can get the driver side tank out without pulling the driveline, that would be just dandy 😎…but this ‘04 is fitted with the hardline crossover. I have no experience with this, so don’t know how that particular crossover plays. I’ve had the drivetrain out twice in two years, including new clutch, and rear gear change. Was kinda looking forward to more fun parts, so this gas thing is a buzz kill.
Don't do it!! I built a Darton sleeved 427 street motor back in '05, and was told my stock fuel pump was iffy, meaning it might, or might not, need a boost-a-pump. I was just under 600 crank hp, and turned out I didnt need it. I think in most cases, you're good to go up to around 550 crank hp. My opinion, but also what I experienced.

Any way you could get a small telescoping mirror up in there, and shine a mini flashlight light at it? You have to wonder why in Hell GM changed from the earlier design??!

Yeah, I was wondering…. Thanks for the feedback. If your hot rod is fine, I have nothing to worry about.

Plumbers strap/tape is what I would do if the member can't find his old support. That, or measure the gauge thickness and width, and bend one up yourself. I hope you write a scalding review of the incompetent asses at Exotic. They shouldn't be able to work on lawnmowers!! Can you imagine handing over your $300,000 Ferrari to these idiots???!!
