C6 Wheels on C5 - Spedometer

C6 Wheels on C5 - Spedometer
I just put base C6 OEM wheels/tires on my C5, and the speedometer seems to be slightly off. Is there any adjustment I need to make? I can get easy access to a TECH2 if that is needed. Thanks!

If you changed tire sizes, maybe.
C6 was P245/40ZR-18 front, P285/35ZR-19 rear. (source: Corvette Black Book, 2005 page)
If the tire circumference ( outside diameter x pi ) is different the speedometer will read different.

There will be maybe a 0.7% difference in speed do to the C6 tire diameter being .2 inch larger. I went to the C6 size and the speedo change was not noticable.
