Fuel Filter Question, Quick response greatly appreciated
I just pulled off the old filter, and the blue clip on the male side came off with filter. Is this suppose to happen? The new filter came with the clip inserted in the female side but did not have one attached on the male. Was the clip suppose to stay in the fuel line? I took the clip off the old filter and put it on the new on and connected it back. It doesn't appear to be leaking, but because of it being directly over the exhaust I would like to double check with someone who has done this before. The dealership was unable to help. I really appreciate any advice.
