Anyone able to tell me the correct routing for the front wheel speed sensor harness from where it comes out of the transmission tunnel to the front wheels?
I know it comes from the LF (passenger) side of the trans tunnel across to the RF (driver) side then up to the steering rack then across to the LF (passenger) side, but I cannot remember the correct routing and every way I try the wires always come up short haha.
I just installed my engine a couple of months ago so I can help. Firstly, it’s convention that the right side of the car is the passenger side and left is drivers, as viewed sitting in the car. That said, the harness exits the transmission tunnel on the left side, runs between the block and exhaust manifold (with a branch for the left side ABS sensor), then runs across the rack and over to the drivers side where it terminates at the right side ABS sensor. I hope this helps.
Between not running them along the block (turbos are in the way) and instead running it out along the frame rail and completely forgetting about the extension harness at each wheel.... It explains why I was short.
