Key fob not responding

So idk if its the key fob or the car but the car doesn't respond to the key fob sometimes, I'll press the lock button and it will take it a second or it just wont respond at all and i have to be suuuuper close to the car, this is my 3rd key fob I've bought so far. Does anyone have a answer for this? Someone asked me if the car was a 2004 when i was explaining this and yes it is.

Did you put a new or fresh 2032 battery in the Fob ?

Yes i had bought a pack for the previous key fob because i thought it was the battery too

When I bought my 2003, I was lucky to get both Fobs, and I put in fresh batteries in then, Do you see any corrosion inside the Fob ?

Have you re-trained the fob since you changed the battery?
This is what my 2000 service manual shows, your 2004 might be different.

Key fob madness

So I have replaced the batteries in the original fobs, purchased new fobs, then replaced the batteries in those. I have followed the instructions in several you tube videos, (They were all the same) Still nothing!
