I have a new to me 2003 Vette with 32k miles on it, my friend is going to help me replace some of the low hanging fruit suspension parts, fluids, belts - I am wondering if it is worth it to replace some/all of the radiator hoses while we are at it, thoughts? Thanks and Happy 4th!
Hoses are 20 years old.I would replace just for piece of mind.
I agree. Hoses? Meh, $100 give or take $20. Peace of mind? Priceless. While OP is at it, one other potential leak issue-The plastic coolant tank! It has also been thru a thousand or more hot and cold cycles, and also 20 years old. Wouldnt hurt to buy a new tank. My .02....

GM 10430189 is $109 on the ‘zon, $95 on Rock — but with added shipping.
First time I moved the lower hose on the recovery tank, the T fitting on the bottom cracked and became a drain. Be sure to get the correct replacement for your year, the sensor is different between early and later models.
Rock Auto also has Gates tensioner kits. Complete with belts, pulley's and tensioners. Pretty inexpensive and more great piece of mind.
