Default Injectors

Does anybody have any tricks for installing injectors?

Ive been trying for 2 days to get these in correctly, but every time I do, these leak all over the motor. Tried lubricanting all the gaskets, but a lot of these tear when I install. Already have gone through 16 gaskets. Any ideas on how to smoothly install these so these don’t blow gas all over the motor?

Thank you!

Don't twist them when installing.A little lube on them and push them straight in.Are they leaking at the intake or fuel rail?

I generally just use a little motor oil on them.Only one I ever had leak was due to cutting the o-ring.I tried to twist it instead of just pushing it straight in.

First question I have is how old are they? I use Vaseline. It doesn't hurt a thing to lube the O-rings AND, using a Q-tip, put a small amount all the way around each manifold port and fuel rail orifice. Yes, it's 32 things to lube, but I've never cut an O-ring, nor had trouble installing them doing it this way. This same principle holds true for the dreaded oil pump O-ring! Lube BOTH the pickup tube O-ring, AND the port in the oil pump that it plugs into. Hope this helps....
