Firing order/Cylinder Question
I know the firing order on the LS1's was changed to 1-8-7-2-6-5-4-3 from 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 on old engines but did they change the way the cylinders are numbered? The old was- left side f to r 1-3-5-7 & right side 2-4-6-8. I have the service manuals and couldn't find the info in them. Anyone in the know? :cheers:

Actually there is not a big difference in the firing orders. Take two paper sheets and draw the two orders on them. When you take the second one and turn it upside down (turn it and look from behind, so that 7 is 1 and 2 is 8 )you get the same order as the first one.
