03 z06 modified, recently had a dyno tune (needed it) and runs fine except when coming to a stop, stalls. Went back to the shop and they set the idle @ 1500 so it won't stall and then drop to normal idle however, it stays @ the high idle between shifts and still stalled. Ideas? Highly rated shop, FYI heads were done cam is 600 something lift fast 92mm intake LS2 throttle body and long tube headers. They're saying it's the throttle body being hard to tune , I know this combo has been many times any help is appreciated.
The tune is the problem. The Throttle Cracker and Throttle Follower need to be adjusted. The cracker addresses the throttle hanging (high idle). The follower controls the rate of how fast idle speed drops.
Note: when the clutch is engaged the engine uses the Rolling Idle Airflow adder table instead of the Base Running Airflow table. Once I added .750 g/S across the entire Rolling Idle Airflow table, my car stopped dying when I engaged the clutch. Hope that helps.
