Default Who has Stainless Works Headers

I was wondering who has these headers and had a couple of questions. How is the quality and any installation tips. What type of hardware was included with the package.

TIA

Default Re: Who has Stainless Works Headers (Qwk Silver)

We just installed a set on a customers car this last Friday. Very nice quality pieces. I installed the driver side from the bottom. It takes some coaxing but it will slide right in after working around the O2 sensor harness as well as the braided ground wire. I installed the passanger side from the top with the valve cover removed. Not sure removing the cover is necessary but does provide more room. I pushed the insulated AC line more towards the passanger frame rail first. The mount tab welded to the bottom of the header, that attaches to the bellhousing mount, slides right underneath the starter in between it and the oil pan wing. Mounted the headers to the heads using 97-00 style GM SS sandwich gaskets... an EXCELLANT gasket I might add... superior to paper gaskets IMO. Headers come with step down adaptors that weld directly to the entrance of your cats. Overall great fit.

Let us know if we can provide you a quote:)
