Hurst Billet Shifter Instal
Just wanted to say thanks to the members and their reviews of the Hurst shifter. Installed it last week and thanks to some posted instructions w/pictures it only took about 2 hours. Mush easier thatn I thought It would be. Just one caution, the weather was very cold and I broke one of the palstic tabs on the boot retainer ring. Still works but be careful in cold weather.
As for the shifter, FANTASTIC, I was somewhat concerned about the rattle that several members have experienced. Drove it first without the stock **** and had no rattles. Put the **** back on and sure enough, some rattling at WOT. Ordered a MGW Pistol grip (chrome) and installed it. Great shift **** and NO RATTLES.
Highly recommend the Hurst and the MGW ****. If your concerned about installing them yourself. Dont be, I'm all thumbs and is was easy.
