Runs cool after stat replacement
My A/C compressor grenaded on the highway (fire and everything, quite the spectacle), I just got it back from the shop and it seems to run too cool now. The w/pump, stat housing and stat were replaced along with the condenser. Yesterday after running around for 3 hours in 95 degree Florida muggy heat it did see as high as 195 sitting in heavy traffic however as soon as I hit the highway the temp dropped to 174 and stayed there. I am thinking stat stuck open, thoughts?
